Information and guidance on how to keep your little ones happy and healthy.

Pediatric Associates are focused not only on Getting Kids Well but Keeping Kids Well. With over 17 years of pediatric experience we feel we not only offer high quality care when needed, but the preventive attention required to keep the smiles lasting longer and brighter.

Well Child Check Ups

When we take on a new patient, we begin a scheduled 'Well Child Check Up' program. This follows the development and growth of your child at different ages and milestones with regular scheduled office visits. This is also a chance for you to raise questions and concerns about your child’s development, behavior, and general well-being. Sometimes such questions are difficult to raise when you are in the office for a sick visit.

We, at Pediatric Associates, are here to help no matter the issue, whether it is concerns with eating, sleeping, social behaviors, or attention and learning problems.

Having regular Well Child Check Ups and raising the concerns that matter most to you are key ingredients in helping us know you and your child, and in forming a reliable and trustworthy relationship. Your doctor will not only listen to your concerns, but can also detect and diagnose problems that you may not be aware of, such as problems with growth and development, heart murmurs, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, anemia and many other issues that can be potentially significant if not detected and treated early.

Preventive Treatments

Immunizations:

We, at Pediatric Associates, are strong advocates for preventive care. We believe that all children must be adequately immunized in order to protect them against communicable diseases and to protect the community.
Immunizations are provided at our office to all age groups from 0-18 years.
You may refer to the recommended childhood immunization schedule to see if you child is up to date on his shots.

Anticipatory Guidance:

Our providers will discuss preventive measures to keep children healthy and safe, such as safety in the home and at the playground, optimal nutrition and healthy living, and assess environmental or exposure concerns such as lead, smoking or tuberculosis.
